The creative technology world is moving fast, and oftentimes it feels overwhelming—especially as we watch democratic institutions strain under authoritarian pressures and tech platforms consolidate power in ways that feel increasingly feudal. That's why we've partnered with New Arrivals, Somewhere Systems, Duties, and John-Jamal Gille (ASFB & Stockholm Fashion Week) to bring together creative technologists in Stockholm for an honest conversation about where we're headed.

Hosting this gathering in Sweden feels particularly meaningful, as the Nordic model has long demonstrated how democratic values can be embedded into business practices—from worker representation on corporate boards to robust social safety nets that enable creative risk-taking. In a moment when isolation serves those who would divide us, building genuine community becomes an act of resistance.

Through conversations and presentations with some of our favorite thinkers in the space, we'll explore fresh approaches to creative-tech business models that prioritize collective wellbeing over extraction, discuss how freelancers might band together for better outcomes in an increasingly precarious economy, and dive into real stories—both successes and failures—from those experimenting with democratic, community-centered ways of working.

The event's focus on collective organizing and worker solidarity draws direct inspiration from the Nordic tradition of balancing individual innovation with social responsibility—proving that another way of working is not only possible, but already thriving.

Event sign-up

We’re offering a limited number of invitations to creative technologists. If you’ve been exploring art, design, and technology as tools for reimagining labor and collective agency, we’d love to hear from you. This isn’t a conventional portfolio review or tech demo.

We’re interested in why you make things, how you sustain your work, and what collective futures you imagine through code, sound, material, or motion.

Spots are limited. Selected participants will receive a formal invitation via email.
